Are you stuck with your work at home-based money making projects?

As I was continuing my money quest in this blog, I was so amazed of the numbers of people tapping the comfort of their computers or, I may say, the power of the Internet in generating the cash badly needed in these hard times.

While the power of Internet is perceived as unlimited, people doing businesses through it are being limit by what they know and what they do. So, while you intend to work at home, let us try to improve our ways of doing business in this virtual market.

Too many of us start our home-based businesses, so as the competition gets tougher, promoting our businesses is a must.

I will start to list things that are to be done. Please feel free to add some.

Networking turns the key of our business. Get involve with like minded people through forums and through attending some local events. Keep adding contacts. Just stay connected and keep filing up ideas and techniques. Sooner or later, you may come across with an idea that gives you a breakthrough to your chosen business.

2. Become Viral

I mean, create something that keeps on multiplying. Just promote, promote and promote and promote again. There are so many ways of promotion without making your bank's balances down. There are free marketing techniques out there like article marketing, joining forums, video marketing and joining free traffic exchange sites. In posting to forums, just be sure to not be like a salesman/lady giving sales pitch all the time. Build your credibility first, then relationships.

3. Improve Your Productivity

Hey, just don't get stuck with your computer. Take a walk. Enjoy your life. Do something that could make your day worthwhile. Do something for your family, catch with your lost family time. This is the reason why we want to work at home and do our home-based business. Build your family relationship. After all, when you are satisfied and happy, you could do more and that makes you productive. Happy people are productive people.

4. Makes Things Easy

Many people believe that they could build their credibility by making themselves hard to understand. In our home-based business, we need to be simple. Work at home opportunities need simplicity. We must try to create simple ways so that people could appreciate us and understand what we are trying to say or do.

5. Go Back To Whys

Always go back why you started your business. Don't forget it. It is so hard to accept that after a while, after investing so much efforts and time, you are out of your objectives. The WHYs will keep us always moving.

That was my carrot and my stick. I felt heart broken that I did not get to live my dream all because of by my own financial bondage. Now that I have shown you my why. You must find yours. Your why has to be more than wanting to get out of debt or fire your boss. Not even the money you make is enough because all in all money comes and goes. Actually money is not even real it is something that has been given an arbitrary value by society. Again, what is your why? It has to really drive you to the point that you will never give up reaching for that why. To help you establish your why, write down a list of 30 dreams that you could make come true if you had freedom to accomplish them.

Don't let your dreams get away because of the circumstance that surround you.

Thanks goodness, I’m off the hook of my boss. Just for now.

This is the problem of working for somebody. They owned you literally and figuratively. One must do something he called accomplishments to commensurate to what he earned. Damn! (Forgive me folks.)

Aren’t you sick of too much stress, or of compiling years of experiences or running after certificates of completions just to augment your income?

Is money only achievable by burning sweats from 8am to 5pm for 5 days a week?

Can we just work at home and care for our kids? Can we make money working at home?

These are several questions we may consider while we read this post, MindSetting: The Key to Strategic Blogging.

As I discussed with my previous entry about Talents and Attitudes, mindsetting will play a great role if we want to achieve something. I do a lot of mindsetting everytime I am facing some difficult tasks.

You need to go back to the questions up above if you haven’t made yet a list of your answers. I did this and it helped me a lot. You need to grab a pen and a sheet of bond paper because you may find them handy as we go along.

Try to inhale some fresh air. Oooops! No need to go and puff your breath out in a garden. Just close your eyes for a few seconds or some minutes if you have plenty of time to spare.

Jot down your answers. We need those things as we journey and those lists will serve as our benchmarks of success.

Now, I expect you got some answers. If you answered: “I don’t know”, try to go back a little down to internalize my little musing on Attitude. It will help you not just today but for the rest of your life. I hope so.

That is the beauty of mindsetting. Clean your mind and heart. Let all doubts fly away. You must believe to what you can and forget what you cannot. Know all what you have and don’t bother of what you don’t have. "Just follow your PASSION" says Ken Evoy.

Mindsetting is like removing cobwebs from your long abandoned room.

Done.

Now, you have talents and great attitudes to achieve something. It is great to know these things. Use them towards success.

Today, we need to have a plan for our business. Blogging is a business if you still remember.

Don’t worry it’s easy.

This is how I started a plan. All I need is my self-confidence. It will play an immense role in making decisions and motivates me to work for my goal.

First, I unclogged myself. It is like this. Just change your perspective towards your daily atmosphere as well as your surroundings. For an example, just close this window and go back to your desktop. Are you not bored with that old desktop theme? Change it! Grab your favorite image from the pictures you took recently through your digicam. Maybe, you want to edit some.

Amazingly, ideas keep popping out from an inspired brain. Write them down. For me, I kept notes on a notebook. Everything I do, I put it in writing. I know I need them later on for an article or two.

Second, I do not forced myself to be perfect. Everything will be perfected later after putting some efforts in practice. Mistakes are part of a learning process. And so, this is it.

Mindset plays a great role in your online success. Don't forget this.

BEGIN WITH THE END IN MIND. Sounds familiar, huh? It’s Stephen Covey’s concept. Not mine.

Now, let us begin with the Strategic Blogging process. Determine the purpose why you want to blog. Write it down. You may get rid of that pencil and paper, sooner, as you become master of your own.

First Step: Determine the Purpose of your Site.

Take your time. This is the most important one. All will come into place after this. I am also a newbie blogger. Look at my site; it is not even self-hosted. I haven’t earn that much. We will all journey together.

I just joined the Top Blog Philippines & Pinoy last 24 April 2009. And after only 6 posts, I did it. Amazing! I left this site since then and I visited just today.

How I did it? I don't know. Maybe the keywords.

Ooooopsss! We need a plan for a blog. We will post some for that sooner.

As I promised you in my previous post, "Who Wants Money?", I will start first from the hard ways in making money, but of course, it all depends in your preferences. Now, I will make a list according to my own experiences.

1. Begging for Money

This could be the easiest way for some but I put it here as the hardest. Begging for Money is not as easy as you could imagine. It burns your self-esteem. You will lost all what you have including yourself if you start begging for money now. You are nothing; you become nothing. You lost everything, your family, your education (if you have some), your beingness, and your pride. All. You owned nothing but your instinct to live for another day. It is not worth a single penny giving all what you are.

2. Working for Other as Slave

The only difference from the first is that you have a boss who gives you sure income. As a slave, you could eat some good meals, have some money, maybe some decent clothes, as payment for becoming subservient. In exchange for money, you lost your freedom.

3. Peddling for Other’s Products

This one maybe is good enough for others. You should walk extra ten miles to market your products to some, you thought, prospective buyers but, at the end of the day, all commissioned you earned are not worth the fatigue you forced unto your self. Maybe you are in full self-esteem to market somebody’s products and maybe you have all the freedom to exercise, but the costs are not worth the penny you received.

4. Getting Employed

We almost found ourselves with this particular one. We do not worry of losing ourselves in the process. We do work according to our job descriptions and responsibilities. Perhaps, we have our freedom and maybe, the services we rendered are worth the salaries we received every end of the day. However, the problem is, we are always at the mercy of our bosses. We wait for that payday before we could have something for ourselves.

5. Owning a Business

Maybe all of us want to have a good and earning business. Doing it in a conventional way, of course, entails some hard works and sometimes could not make it without sacrificing too much, which may include your health and your family.


Now, that I enumerated some to the hard ways, to which some of you may disagree, let us start looking for some easy ways that will not sacrifice your beingness, your freedom, your health and your family.

You may suggest some ways. But my idea is having a good business just at the tip of my finger. So keep accompanying me in my quest for some easy money.
